The best tools for every job.
Many IT consultants are one-approach "Microsoft" solution providers, "Linux" developers, or experts in a specific language. Because of our breadth and depth of experience, we are able to go beyond the various industry affiliations and use the most productive tools for each project.
We run Apple Macintosh workstations with Macintosh OSX, but also administer Linux, FreeBSD, and Windows 2003 servers, and have Windows XP in emulation for when it is needed.
Our intenet development tools include PHP, ColdFusion, ASP.NET, JSP and EJB, as well as Ruby on Rails. For conventional GUI applications we often use Borland Delphi, Visual Basic, and RealBasic.
For complex business logic, we'll tend to choose C/C++, Objective C, and Prolog. For database, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server and occasionally, Oracle and DB2. Note this is far from a complete list.
